FPS RE CUrriculum statement
Intent
At FPS we deliver a broad and balanced curriculum which is matched to the agreed Nottinghamshire syllables. Our curriculum is designed to provide children with the opportunity to develop, build on and master their skills, knowledge and understanding of a range of religions, making progress by reflecting on the impact of religions and world views. Our RE curriculum is linked strongly to SMSC and British values. The teaching of RE vocab is progressive and embedded. RE at Flintham provokes challenging questions about belief, thinking and living. Children will learn to articulate clear and coherent accounts of their own personal belief, ideas, values and experiences whilst respecting the views, values and ways, of life of others.
