An exciting Number Day was had by all the children on Friday 1st February. The children took part in avariety of fun based number challenges and maths problems through stories. In the af ternoon there was a house quiz entitled ‘‘Who wants to be a Mathionaire?’ This was very closely contested and the teachers were so impressed with the range of strategies the children used to calculate the answers.
Only a couple of correct calculations missed by every house. As always at FPS, we dressed up brilliantly for the occasion and took part in ‘Dress up for Digits’. The children paid £1 and the money raised has been donated to the NSPCC. Thank you Mrs Sharphouse for organising such an interesting and worthwhile enrichment day at FPS.
