Fire Class

In Fire Class the children are in the early years (3 year olds) and reception.

The teachers in Class 1 are Mrs J Sharphouse, Mrs F Barker, Mrs Dunderdale, Mrs S Witham and Mrs Chan.

PE Day

PE in Class 1 will be on a Wednesday. Please send your child's PE kit into school for children to change in to after Welly Wednesday if they get wet or dirty.

Welly Wednesday

All the children in Class 1 will be learning in the outdoor space on a Wednesday. Please send your child to school in their old clothing, including a coat, hat and gloves in the cold weather and wellies. Your child will need to bring their uniform and school shoes into school with them to change in to for the afternoon.

Knowledge Banks

In EYFS, we use 'Knowledge Banks' to help children to recall key knowledge that we intend for them to learn. Our 'Knowledge Banks' are similar to the 'Knowledge Organisers' used from KS1 onwards, however our key information is set out slightly differently and link directly to the knowledge and understanding strand of the EYFS Framework.

Our 'Knowledge Banks' help the children link their knowledge and skills to their previous learning and allow them to know what they are expected to learn throughout a new topic. Please see below for our Autumn Term Knowledge Banks.

Half Termly Overview and Parent Letter

Every half term we send home an overview of what your child will be learning in Class 1 along with a letter containing any key information, dates, visits or extra-curricular activities that you might need to know about. Please see below for the recent letters sent home.
