The majority of our pupils are welcomed into Flintham Primary School and begin their educational journey with us in Fire Class. This is our EYFS Class comprising our Early Years (N2) and Reception children.
Children who have their 4th birthday during the academic year, September 1st to August 31st, (the year prior to starting reception) are eligible to apply for a place at our school in N2 using their Universal 15 Hours Funding (available to all parents). Parents, who meet the eligibility criteria will be entitled to an additional 15 hours extended funding. We thoroughly enjoy having this age of children in our school and it never ceases to amaze us as to how the children settle and benefit from that extra time in our foundation class. The policy for applications to the N2 class is available in the documents below and does not go through Nottinghamshire County Council, please be aware this does not guarantee a place in Flintham Primary School’s reception class. If you wish to apply for a place in the N2 class please contact the school office.
Flintham Primary School Local Governing Body have approved their own Admissions policy which will be followed for entry to school from September 2025. Please find a copy of the policy below.
